Adam’s canal house is about a 5 minute walk from Amsterdam central but also fairly close to everything. The room was nice and cosy as expected as canal houses are usually only small. The bed was super soft, comfortable and everything was clean. My only criticism is be prepared for the steep stairs, they were fine for us two youngsters, but others may struggle with taking heavy luggage. Also, the shower pressure isn’t very strong, so made it a bit difficult to wash my thick hair, but I just gave it a extra rinse.. it’s a old building at the end of the day :) the hologram check in is interesting, but all really easy to use! There was a bit of noise from another guest later in the evening .. but this is not the hotels fault at all as the rules clearly state be respectful of others.

The location is top notch. Staying a smaller building is much nicer IMO than a huge chain hotel. It was comfortable besides the glowing red light on the a/c above our heads (management should just put a sticker on it!). Do know that you’ll have to haul your suitcases up a narrow spiral starircae. There is no staff in the building —but they say you can video call them. We found that odd and didn’t. It really would’ve been very helpful if there had just been two bottles of water in the room when we got there. There was a carafe and glasses, but I was hesitant to drink out of it because I didn’t know how clean it was. Room was crazy expensive.

Location is good, just 5 minutes from central station. The room is spacious and clean, good coffee maker. The canal view is the selling point that attracted me to book this room. There is only one chair in the double room, one more chair for this room will be much appreciated. However, we stayed at second floor, there is no lift and the stairs are extremely steep, it is quite difficult to take the luggage upstairs. The fridge in our room is out of order, but they did not fixed until check out!

This property was in the perfect location with only a small walk to the district. We were a big fan of the Bluetooth door locks for both the main door and the room door as this meant we could have easy access from our phones as well as our key cards. Aswell as this the rooms were very nice and modern and really gave us that Amsterdam experience.

Great location- easy to get to the sites and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby Good room with view of canal. Nice coffee in the room. Warm and comfortable- it was easy to make it warmer on the day it rained and we got wet!
